Inflation
Since 2020, the prices of everyday everyday things Americans buy have risen 30%. When will prices go back to the way they were?
In short, never.
As a response to the pandemic and the ever-growing National Debt, the government printed nearly a third of all dollars in circulation. Ever since, this new money has been circulating through the economy, driving up prices. While the printing presses have slowed, this process continues every year we maintain a national budget deficit.
The only way to stop the bleed and halt the destruction of everyday Americans’ purchasing power is to balance the national budget and pay down the debt.
In Congress, I will vote “No” on any budget that will increase the national debt.
